The Final #ASW10 Post
Well, here we are, nearly a week after Summit ended, and it just now occurred to me that I left out a few things from Tuesday and neglected to come up with a final summary. What can I say - I was so excited by all the prospects and opportunities I was given that I raced home and got to work!

Affiliate Showcase
At 11:00 I set up for the Affiliate Showcase, and while I will write more about it later, I wanted to give the preliminary results of my experiment. So far, nobody has used a Poken with me, nor has anyone used the Bump app for iPhone. It’s all about business cards here at the Affiliate Showcase!

Affiliate Summit West 2010 has officially opened - well, early registration and badge-pickup was actually yesterday, and the charity poker tournament was last night… but today is the first day of sessions and the Meet Market.

I spent a few hours walking around Vegas - walked through Ceasar’s, Harrah’s, the Flamingo, Bally’s, Paris, and a couple others… amazing how each place is designed to be quite maze-like; just massive. I’m having breakfast at the Sao Paulo Cafe at the Rio - I have a feeling it won’t be the last time while I’m here! It’s this, the World Buffet (for breakfast? no thanks) or go somewhere outside the Rio. Or wait in line at the Starbucks counter. Which I refuse to do.
Mental note for future reference: if you don’t want to wake up before 8am, don’t sleep with the drapes open. Sunlight will wake you up. Good morning Las Vegas! Gimme food.
Lost $30 over about 2 hours on slots earlier today, just made half back in 15 minutes playing Rapid Roulette.

Installed tumblr for iPhone and testing it while out for a haircut. Thrilling, I know. Looks good so far, but very disappointed there’s no landscape keyboard support.
